How the shop works
- Get the seminar most relevant to your current stage in homeschooling.
- We always recommend families start with A Literature Based Approach to Education. It’s the bread and butter of our method. But, if you’ve got younger kids (think, preschool) you can listen to Let the Little Children Come instead. If you have older kids (think, middle school and older), you can start with Begin with the End in Mind.
- Learn the Homeschool Made Simple framework
- Listen to the seminars to learn our research-based method. The great thing about having the downloads is that you can listen to them over and over again. The more inundated you are in the conventional school model, the more you’re going to need to listen to the teaching. You’ve got to break your educational box before you can remake it.
- Become familiar with the book lists
- We supply the framework and the tools you need to successfully homeschool your kids. However, you have to put in the hard work to make it yours. Based on your children’s ages and family size, you’ll select resources right for your family.
- Make a plan for the school year
- Once you understand the framework and are familiar with the tools, you can build your own curriculum! Listen to this podcast episode to get our top tips for planning your school year and daily routine.
