Homemaking While Homeschooling | Episode 157
Many moms feel the pressure of homemaking while homeschooling. It is a big job!
One of the greatest opportunities for lightening the load of homemaking is to teach your children to help. Dr. Raymond Moore said, “Don’t do anything for your children that they can do for themselves.” He also said, “If a child can walk, they can work.”
Unfortunately, when children are left to merely be entertained all day, it puts greater stress on mom. However, there is a different way, a better way!
In this episode, Carole talks with Kristi Woodard, homeschooling mom of eight, about how she has taken care of her home while homeschooling over the years.
She shares her pearls of wisdom on systems her family used in various seasons.
Kristi encourages homeschool moms to train up children to work. As they learn the work in the home, they will go out into their community and be a blessing.
Sometimes, she paired children up to work together. Other times, the divvied up tasks to spread the work between everyone. This conversation will help you in your own homemaking while homeschooling!
