Knowing Your Children | Episode 172
Knowing your children is one of the biggest benefits of homeschooling.
When the Smithsonian Institute did a study of world-class geniuses, they found one of the commonalities between the geniuses they studied was attentive and affectionate parents. The other two marks were limited time with peers and ample time for pursuing their own interests under parental guidance.
Homeschooling gives the time and space required to grow in understanding another person. In this case, the person is our child. What a privilege!
In this episode, Carole talks with Sienna DeMoss about her family’s story of starting to homeschool and what she considers to be the most important parts of homeschooling. Sienna even went to Bible college before attending Liberty University. She shares her educational experience and the impact it has had on her young adult life.
Don’t underestimate the gift you are giving in simply knowing your children.
