How to Make Your Child a Lover of Books | Episode 170

If you want to see your child succeed, you need to focus on one thing: how to make your child a lover of books.

The secret to educational success is reading great books, because a child who loves to read loves to learn.

Oftentimes in the educational world, we can focus so much on academic rigor and testing progress. We become consumed with the age a child begins to read. Rather than focusing so much energy on teaching kids how to read, we ought to focus on teaching children to want to read.

In this excerpt of our seminar, A Literature Based Approach to Education, J. J. Seid teaches a segment of the workshop called How to Make Your Child a Lover of Books.

J. J. shares three ways to help kids cultivate a love of books!
